Damasco Coffee Table

I’m in love with this table - with all the tables in the collection. The Patricia Urguiola collection features four variations, including a dining table. The tables are made of wenge-stained oak and have a lacquered inlay available in a choice of white or grey. The collection is available at Unica Home.
Spore Vase

This vase from Intoto is quite unique - I haven’t seen anything like it lately, so it’s very refreshing.
Nola Star Panels

Nola Star adds interest to a room with these awesome panel dividers. They let enough light in, but keep the privacy. They are made up of 8×8 translucent squares connected by tiny metal rings. The panels fold out of place if needed and are completely customizable.

The Dutchtub

OK, I can’t not cover this just because it is all over the place. I absolutely love this hot tub. I’m not a hot tub person, but this is such an amazing design. The Dutchtub, as it is called, was designed by Floris Schoonderbeek in 2002. It is a polyester tub with a stainless steel, wood-fueled system that circulates the water and heats it up to 100° F [nice + cozy]. Amazingly, it weighs a little over 150 pounds so it’s portable. Bring one over to my house!
Mat Daly

Mat Daly is a Chicago-based painter and printmaker. His pieces include paintings, prints, and posters, available at his website or at The Bird Machine in Chicago.

Sneak Peek from Amenity Home

Looks like everyone is revealing their new products. Amenity Home has some newbies as well that are not yet available, including wall art and a bag! I just love their organic designs: simple, elegant, and modern.
New Items from Design My World

My personal fave is the Hidden vase. It’s a vase hidden among what looks like branches of a tree. What a neat idea. The Chaos Lamp is one cool-looking table lamp. It almost looks like coral, but also like snowflakes. It’s very soothing and seems to throw some nice, soft lighting. The Idea Gio 2-Seater is available in various colors of leather or eco-leather. Very cool. New Minishake lights from Arek Levy.
Orgone Chair

OK, I just can’t get enough of this website. Here is one last thing that I desperately want right now: the Orgone Chair. Is it storage? A vase? A chair? Or all three and more? Who cares, cause it’s just plain awesome. I believe the original website is here but I don’t speak German.
Nauti-less Ring

The Nauti-less Ring, available through De De Ce is so super cool. It’s made of glass, and flows and twists so smoothly. I’m the kind of gal who wears one or two key pieces of jewelry with something plain so that there is only one focus. This ring would be one of those pieces.
Architect Furniture
I was looking around at architects and came across this website that showcases some amazing homes built by E4. As I poked around their site, I saw they had a section for furniture and spotted this dresser:

I really like this for it’s balance between movement and stillness. This is truly a unique piece and I wish E4 would design more furniture!
New Finish from West Elm
Acorn: A new deep finish from West Elm.

Here’s their chunky console table. I have the chunky dining table [discontinued] in the dark finish and I love it. This piece, though, is my new fave:

Cool Bathroom Tiles

Moving Color glass tiles are just plain cool. They come in a few different designs, including tye dye. The tiles can be installed in any interior room and change colors with heat exposure, so they’re ideal for showers. The Moving Color website is fairly limited, but I think that they’ve got something good here, so if you’re looking for something completely out of the ordinary, I suggest checking them out.
I Love Tufting
I really do. There’s something about those little buttons that makes me swoon. Finding a great tufted sofa isn’t all that hard, and there are many vintage sofas with tufting. For example, here is an awesome sectional from Ebay starting at only $499:

If you’re not a scavenger or prefer something new, here are my favorite tufted sofas:

The Andre sofa from Room and Board. Not bad at $1599.

The Bantam sofa from DWR for $1598.

The Gus Design sofa from Design Public is a real nice specimen. This one will set you back about $1825. However, if you like modern classics, and have the cash, you can always spring for a Florence Knoll:

This Florence Knoll sofa will cost you a pretty $6500 at Hive Modern. However, it is larger than the above and is offered in more fabrics and leather. One of the above may end up in my living room next year…I’ll keep you posted.
Egg Vase

I really dig this vase from Moooi. In order to get the shape, latex rubber condoms are stuffed with hard-boiled eggs. I’m not sure what exactly is so appealing about it to me, but I like the texture and flow of the egg-like forms. Although, it kind of makes me think of testicles.
Queens and Kings Jewelry

The first in this collection, the Soyara collection is made of mirror polished stainless steel and titanium. The bracelets and rings are available from Unica Home. Designed by Arik Levy, the design ebbs and flows gracefully and simply, winding like a spring. Click here for sizing information or see more designs from Arik Levy at Unica.
Elizabeth Schuppe

If you don’t already know about Elizabeth Schuppe, then here is the rundown. She’s an artist, lives in NYC, and creates amazing paintings. I’ve seen her work before but never knew the name of the artist. I’m so happy to have found her. Check out more of her paintings website for more of her work.
Dot Kite Lab - Feather
The Feather is an interesting seating system that sets new standards to the modern interiors. Feather is the first product from the new forthcoming Dot Kite collection, Daedalos. The base is mande from tubular aluminum and coated polyether for the seat. This product is also a neat option for hotels or night clubs. I wonder if you can hang it from a tree?
Twinkle, Twinkle

From today’s Daily Candy, I discovered Twinkle Living, a company in NYC that specializes in textiles with geometric designs. Their bedding, rugs, and pillows are exquisite. Twinkle Living came out of Twinkle by Wenlan, knitwear created by Wenlan Chia.
