So Sorry!

We have been down for 2.5 days and I apologize. It’s been driving me crazy that I can’t post all the cool stuff I’ve found over the past few days. I will be back to posting tomorrow – need to do some database and web cleanup today. There may be a few bugs on the site today.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who emailed me or commented with well wishes during this time. We are now back in our home and we are safe. I can’t imagine what it must be like for those who lost their homes in these fires. I hope that those of you in SoCal are back home and safe or will be back in your homes soon. Swank Lighting

The Edward P. Paul Company originally imported these lamps from Venetian glass houses and marketed them under the Balboa trade name. Later, Balboa lamps were offered at department stores such as Macy’s, Bloomingdales, and Marshall Fields. When Ed Sexton and Doug Taylor happened across a nearly forgotten treasure trove of vintage Murano glass lamps from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, they bought the entire inventory. They opened a showroom in Dallas and have a website at www.swanklighting.com.
