Here are some of my current Brocade Home faves:

white crystal chandelier and carved mirror

turned wood pedestal table and lace cut media storage

floral duvet and hourglass dresser tower
Yes, I know these are not modern, but I have an inner lady who likes curlicues.
Christmas Tree Decor

You don’t have a tree yet? Don’t want needles in your house and can’t stand the idea of a fakey-fake? I thought this little tree was a cute way to show that you have some holiday spirit without sacrificing your desire for design.
Holiday Wishes: Wish #5
Wish #5: The Stendig 2008 Calendar. Like the furniture, this won’t fit under a tree either.

Bond & Bowery
Here’s some antique chandelier-lovin’ for you.

Wood Bath Tray

I love bath sets. This one, especially.

Plummers

I like this sofa from Plummers, a local chain. It’s also known as Dania Furniture and Scandinavian Designs in other states.
Has anyone been to a Plummers or bought anything there?
Holiday Wishes: Wish #4
Wish #4: A nice piece of furniture.
Maybe a Kartell Ghost Chair.

Maybe a white 3-element componibili for my bathroom.

Modern Menorah from Jonathan Adler
I posted last year about modern menorahs, and here is another to add to that list - new from Jonathan Adler:

Holiday Wishes: Wish #3
Wish #3: A lovely tea kettle.

I have my eye on a Le Creuset whistling tea kettle but I can’t make up my mind on the color. The problem is that there are too many colors that I change my mind every day.
And this one by Joey Roth, although it is well out of my price range:

Cake and Sun

The Cake and Sun tables from Nola are breathtaking. I wouldn’t want to put anything on them!
Fredrik Mattson

These lamps by Fredrik Mattson are lovely. They remind me of a children’s toy mashed together with a pop art painting.

Holiday Wishes: Wish #2
Wish #2: Portable cereal. I love cereal. I could eat it for every meal of the day.

I also thought this was a cute idea. Also available from:
Holiday Wishes: Wish #1
For the next few weeks I will be posting some of my personal holiday wishes/wants. As you may know, I don’t do Holiday Gift Guides because so many other places have great ones, so you can view this as my attempt to suggest some great design gifts. These will be in addition to regular posting.
Wish #1: A new bag. My poor H&M messenger bag has just about seen it’s last days.
I like this brown and pink one one:

Asturias Armchair

This is quite an interesting chair. Made of reclaimed wood.
Pock It

I’ve featured the Solarise Lamp by Pu Tai and I really love his new design - the Pock It. It’s like a Post-it with a pocket! Amazingly simple and extremely useful.
Bloc Dressers

I just love these walnut dressers at The Conran Shop.
Genuine Bulletin Board

This bulletin board is magnetic but has a wood outer surface.
Gardenology
I went shopping this weekend around the Encinitas and Solana Beach area. One store really stuck out - Gardenology. I am pretty sure it had a lot to do with the fact that the store was decorated like a winter wonderland: it was like sensory overload. If you’re in the area in the next month or so, I suggest you check it out. The friendly lady who worked there made it all the more pleasant. My favorite item in the store (which I might go back for) was a set of candles shapes like twigs.
Bummer, I forgot my camera.
Woolen Light

Soft light. Literally.
