Neverending Lamp
I found a matching lamp to the Neverending bookcase I just posted:

Pillows at Silho

I had a hard time not posting every photo from the Silho Furniture website. I love every single item they have. However, I really enjoyed this particular pillow collection because of the abstract designs and beautiful color palettes.

Neverending

The Neverending bookcase is a project by Luca Nichetto, of the Hook Box fame. I’m not sure how usable this is, but I like the scribbly nature and free-flowing design.

I Want!
I need!

Hey Design Boner - this needs to be declared!
The Brothers Dressler

I got an email about some amazing designers in Toronto. Their work utilizes found materials, and all waste is taken and created into new items, such as bracelets.

Thanks, Kurt!
Salt and Pepper Maracas

Shake your salt and pepper.

ABC LOVE Poster

I love typography, graphic prints, and simple messaging, so I really enjoy this poster from BODIE & FOU.

Perforated Steel Dresser

Oh my goodness - when I saw this I couldn’t stop looking at it, wondering where I could put it. It’s so industrial that you probably need a very eclectic mix of furniture to pull it off. I can’t get over the web description: “3 Drawers; wheels, with brakes” - as if you were going to get on top of it and race down a hill.

I Need a Birdrack

Why not take my two favorite things, smash them together, and design a bird coatrack!

Crate and Barrel Go Eco

Yes, they’ve jumped on the green bandwagon. However, I have to admit that this is a trend I don’t want to go away. Say all you want about green consumerism, but I think it’s better to make new green products than new ones than harm the environment.

cb2’s Ziggy Winerack

The fact that this winerack is named “Ziggy” makes it even better.

Random Thought

I was driving to work today and spotted a car I hadn’t seen on the road before: the new Nissan Altima coupe. Mr. Design Milk used to drive an Altima sedan back in the day and it was a fairly reliable car, albeit nothing special. I am surprised they waited so long to come out with a sporty model. I don’t talk about cars here too much, but I had to mention this because I found its design pleasing to the eye.

Choplery

I talked about designGO before. They’re back with “Choplery” - a chopstick/cutlery hybrid made from 100% bamboo, which allows for a choice while eating. This design forces the user to make a decision as to their eating preference.
Aside: Does anyone eat eggs with chopsticks? I saw this in a movie recently and found it a bit curious…
Décor-a-Boards

How cute are Pop Ink’s Décor-a-Boards? Printed directly onto unfinished birch veneer over MDF board, Décor-a-Boards are a natural fit for any green (or any other color) home. They are manufactured with recycled wood scraps and unused parts of lumbered trees.

Luflic

Luflic is the Old English word for “lovely.” Luflic says they are interested in making “furniture that is desirable and durable so there is no reason to replace it or throw it away.” I think that is important because these days I see a lot of disposable furniture out there. It is nice to see a commitment to quality and timelessness.

Solv Studio

George Mahoney introduced me to his line of furniture, Solv. I often wondered how one can make wooden slats new and interesting, but he has done exactly that.
Noodles

Furniture inspired by noodles? Yup.
