Designed by Bruce Marsh, these pieces are built to order. Bruce’s studio also makes efforts to be as green as possible.

+ Spacify +
An old favorite of mine, Spacify is a great source for modern furniture, acessories, and lighting.

Stray Dog Designs
Hello there! Well, I have been quite busy doing things to the site that you probably will never notice, but they have to be done. I apologize for the lean posts today.
I was reading my recent issue of Domino, and saw this lamp by Stray Dog Designs:

I immediately dog-eared the page. When I visited their site, I fell in love with more and more lamps. Here are two of my faves:

Brasilia Table

Remember I talked about France Magazine? Well, I was thumbing through it again and fell in Love (with a capital “L”) with this table by Fernando and Humberto Campana called Brasilia.
Here’s the photo from France Magazine:

FLO Collection

Speaking of being outdoors, I love this collection from Driade.
Beach Time

I am so ready for the beach right now. How fitting that this chaise is called the Bikini, which is exactly what I’d be wearing while sitting in it.

KLEM - Coatrack Submission
Just when you thought I had moved on…

“A set of aluminum coat hangers that can be used as wardrobe hooks by clipping them on the folded edges of an aluminum plate. Clipped to the plate, the set of hooks makes up a coatrack. A mirror is all that remains when the coat hangers are stored away somewhere else. It works excellent and looks great!”

Lulu Smith

I like anyone named Lulu just because of the pup. But this necklace from Lulu Smith is absolutely beautiful! The colors are exquisite and the shape is modern and fresh.

CB2 Bedding

I am so into cb2’s bedding right now. I got a new catalog the other day (yes, I know I have been trying to stop getting catalogs…) and after leafing through it, the most impressive thing to me was the simplicity and beauty of their bedding. It truly complements their pieces nicely, but could work with higher end pieces just as well.

Right Brain Terrain At Vitamin D
We are very excited to have Right Brain Terrain’s Alternative Motivational Posters available at Vitamin D(esign). We’ve been huge fans of RBT for a while now, so we are very honored to announce their products as well as the fact that they are now a green company: RBT’s posters are now printed on 100% post-consumer recycled papers that are FSC certified and certified processed chlorine free (CPCF). They will only print with vegetable based inks, such as soy. The tubes that ship all of these posters are made from 70% to 100% post consumer recycled content. Browse the whole line here.
Brain Lamp
OK, one more weird, anatomical design for today. You’ve seen the spine, the uterus, and here is the brain:

From the website: “A replica of the designer’s brain, originated from an MR scan at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. The image was processed through a 3D-printer, and became this unusual lamp shade design. Yes, it is bright.”

Plusminuszero New Alarm Clock

I love when I see good alarm clock design. And I love plusminuszero. What I love most about this particular design is its simplicity. There are no crazy buttons, nothing to junk up the functional design. This alarm clock does what it is supposed to do: wake you up. Nothing more.
