Trained architects, Pétur Örn Eyjólfsson and Søren Oskar Duvald who make up ÖRNDUVALD, were chosen to display their proposed project called Piles. Piles consists of three designs, soil, water, and rubble, that are made up of 45,548 round “pixels” in nine different colors, that represent the vast amounts of these elements that are excavated for a new metro system.
The discs glisten as the light hits them making passersby curious as to what is going on behind the fence.
