Michigan-based artist Yuni Kim Lang creates modern jewelry out of ordinary black rope that was inspired by Korean and Chinese cultural references, like the Button Knot.

The bold pieces are made from an industrial polypropylene rope that is formed into knotted wearable sculptures that make you forget what they’re made of.
