Elitre by Area Declic

Area Declic partnered with designer Philippe Bestenheider to design this collection of outdoor seating called Elitre. Elitre is the Italian word for the wings of some insects and this collection seems appropriately named, given the wing-like, organic shapes of the mesh structures that make up the pieces.

A moiré effect happens where the mesh overlaps creating a cool visual and putting them in a unique class of their own when it comes to outdoor furniture. Made of metal tubes and metal mesh, the seats and tables are treated to withstand the outside elements.
