Knog Launches a Minimalist Bike Bell

Cycling accessory brand Knog continues to look for ways to make riding your bike safer with their modern, minimalist goods, like their latest – the Oi bicycle bell. The Australian company, known for their lights, has ventured into reimagining the bike bell for the 21st century.

Instead of the age-old, dome-shaped bells, Knog designed a discreet, elegant O-shaped one that will almost go unnoticed on your handlebars. Instead of sitting atop your handlebar, it appears to hover around it with a spring-loaded actuator built right into the mount, making the strike of the bell the perfect pitch, volume, and length of ring. This bell doesn’t just play a single note like others – it plays a chord – and it actually has several pitch tones to make sure it is definitely heard by others as you’re biking.

If you want to stay safe and make sure you’re heard while you’re out cycling, you can join in their Kickstarter campaign to get one of the first ones produced.
