Nendo Designs the Women’s Fashion Floor of a Japanese Department Store

Nendo gave the women’s clothing floor at popular Japanese department store Seibu Shibuya a completely new look. The Key to Style floor received a visually dynamic new look that was inspired by an amusement park, with a monotone color scheme to complete the space. Using a light blue on the ceiling and wood in certain parts, the department comes together with graphic zig zag flooring and white details interspersed throughout.

The sales area mimics the look of a circus tent with individual brands arranged to look like booths at a market.

Darker pathways guide customers through the store and create a line of sight.
