With ICFF – North America’s 4-day trade show for architecture and fine interior design – just around the corner, we’ve been catching glimpses of what’s in store for attendees this year. Brooklyn based Wax Rax, the brainchild of designer, artist, and metal fabricator David Stanavich, is slated to premiere a line of carts, shelving, and consoles designed with the consummate vinyl record collector in mind in association with NYCxDESIGN and Design Week at ICFF.
Each anodized aluminum, brass and steel piece of furniture is built to order in Stanavich’s Brooklyn workshop, with various color options available for customization. With vinyl continuing its resurgence as both listening pleasure and a collectible, we certainly welcome more storage and display furniture like this to keep collections beautifully in order.
