The Luciano Ceramic Bluetooth Speaker Sings Simplicity

Paolo Cappello Design’s modernized the gramophone for the streaming audio generation with the Caruso, a cabinet of curiosity most memorable for its purity of form and pleasing matte color combinations. Continuing the evocation of great opera singers, Luciano is the Milanese designer’s smaller wireless and portable rendition, one that “sings” similarly, sans cabinetry.

The Luciano’s characteristic horned instrument casing is constructed in the Italian town of Nove, one renowned for their output of high-quality ceramic work.

The Luciano is available in a 24K gold edition, a special finish which gives the table speaker a distinctly instrumental presence (and a nearly $1,500 price tag).

The 15W horn-style ceramic table speaker is embedded for Bluetooth 4.0, making it compatible with iOS, Android, macOS, OS X, Windows, and Linux systems. And again the matte finishes available in three colors tempts touch before, during, or after any listening session (put us down for one in Deep Ocean Blue). The Luciano begins shipping at the end of this month on March 20th, 2017, with preorders accepted today via NEWBLACK.
