Perflect Geometric Bookshelves That Create Optical Illusions by Sam Baron for JCP

French designer Sam Baron designed a trio of bookshelves for JCP that create optical illusions with its geometric structures and mirrored surfaces, making you wonder if your collectibles have suddenly multiplied. The Perflect cabinets, made of thin, black metal structures with steel mirror panels, were inspired by the “middle ages and renaissance gravures” and their sense of depth studies.

The asymmetrical cabinets utilize slanted mirrored panels that to bounce the reflection of whatever you choose to display. The back and sides of the shelves also offer a unique perspective you don’t normally see on your average shelf.
