A Jaw-Dropping, Oceanfront Penthouse in Miami Beach

New York-based Smiros & Smiros Architects had worked with this client four times before being hired to complete this penthouse apartment in Miami Beach, Florida. On the shores of South Beach, this project spans an entire floor of the building, along with rooftop terraces that boast 360 degree, jaw-dropping views of the ocean and the city.

The contemporary interior features light wood floors, smooth white ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the view like artwork on the walls.

A majority of the finishes and furnishings are in neutral and natural colors and textures to prevent overtaking the surrounding coastal views.

I love seeing the Abyss Table from Duffy London in the living room! It adds the perfect amount of color and visual interest without being overwhelming.

Warm wooden elements are juxtaposed with Carrara marble in the expansive kitchen.

The master bathroom walls and floor are clad in marble, which is paired with wood framed mirrors and a floating, two-sink vanity.

The outdoor furniture covered in red cushions complements the turquoise colors of the pool and ocean.
