Adobe’s San Francisco Digs

As San Jose-based Adobe continues to grow, so does their need for office space. They expanded to San Francisco once they acquired Macromedia in 2005 but had outgrown their two original office spaces at 601 and 625 Townsend Street. Adobe jumped on leasing 410 Townsend, just two blocks down, to meet their staff needs and hired Valerio Dewalt Train Associates to create its own unique identity.

Spread out over 2-1/2 floors of a 4-story building, the 44,000 square feet of space immediately lets you know that you’re embarking on Adobe territory with branding throughout the offices.

Each zone is dotted with a pop of color, which mixes with the wooden historical elements of the building, like the exposed ceilings and beams. White also grounds each of the spaces while also helping to keep the overall design clean and fresh.

Places to sit and work show up in various areas of the offices where you can relax and view the San Francisco skyline.

I love how they kept the brick exposed.
