I love mobiles. I want to say more, but I can’t think about how awesome mobiles are without comparing them to wind chimes. And that’s just wrong.

Francoise, I like your work. Do you have recommendation on how to hang from ceiling? I am interested in your suggested method.

I think that with all the mid-century modern design, mobiles just make sense. I love them, too. As for how to hang them, I’d use a small eye hook with a screw. Screw it into the ceiling and tie the strong to it, or loop the hook through it. You can paint the hook to match.

I would like to see photos of how people use mobiles in their homes, other than over the bassinet. Anyone?
