All Of The Above by David Taylor

When David Taylor’s neighbor, an old-school glazing studio, moved out and left their aluminum scrap in a container by his workshop, he knew immediately that it was a gift. Rather than let it go to waste, he took the aluminum scrap and turned it into ALL OF THE ABOVE for his New York debut at The Future Perfect.

The exhibit features a group of objects that share a common thread—the same genealogy and sense of place. The pieces are a melting pot of scrap material, aluminum, copper, mirrored glass and plastic, combined together to become a compelling collection. At the same time, the collection is also meant for the user’s interpretation to give it life.
