AllModern Kartell Componibili Giveaway

I think this might be my most favorite giveaway yet! AllModern.com is a fantastic source for modern and contemporary furniture, accessories, and lighting. Their prices are pretty competitive as well.
I got so excited when they agreed to giveaway a fabulous item from their classic modern collection: a Kartell Componibili Three-Door Round Tower in black, white or red — winner’s choice!
The Componibili units were designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri in 1969.
With an iconic form whose appeal has lasted for nearly four decades, Componibili modules are playful, instantly recognizable and as practical today as they were when they first emerged into the design world. The defining feature of Componibili is the simple yet stable vertical overlapping of single pieces which form useful movable containers by means of a simple joint. Round Three-Door Componibili add instant flair to any room in the home and come in a number of styles and colors to suit a variety of aesthetic and functional needs. Characterized by an instantly endearing and slightly futuristic elegance, Componibili have an enduring allure and continue to fit into any space, from the Museum of Modern Art to a child’s bedroom, with an easy charm.
Facts about the three-door unit:
- Dimensions: 23 ” H x 12.5″ diameter
- Kartell products use a wide variety of plastic materials, thereby reducing the use of living organisms, such as trees, which are difficult and time-consuming to replace.
- Most Kartell products are easily recycled and product components can be separated to elements made of a single material to simplify the recycling process.

I would put this in my sewing room to store some of my supplies!
Hmmm – when it goes in the living room next to the couch, probably the TV remote control a few good books and a box of Kleenex. When it goes in the bedroom, something similar except for the remote control
This would be a great way to hide all the peripherals for my entertainment system!
These are neat! (:
i’d put my nintendo 64, its games and controllers in two, other card and board games in other areas.
electronics. i’m already picturing where everything would go
I was hoping to use it as kitty cubby holes, but after taking out the tape measure.. I’d use this as the cat’s cabinet.. Small toys, non-refrigerated medicines, nail trimmer, etc.
Ooh, sexy. Would probably use it for tech peripherals. Or as a bedside table, good to keep things like books nearby!
I would put my over-flowing design materials into it and stop my wife from nagging me to ‘clear them away’ to an ‘ooooh that’s nice!’ when she sees where I put it.
Inside my Componibili: Twelve even tinier Componibilis, four per compartment. Inside those? Skittles. -Holly
I would store my art supplies. It would be soooo cool!
I would use it in my son’s room. We would store all his Star Wars action figures in it.
I agree, desk supplies like cords for electronics, camera accessories, etc. It might also be good in the kitchen for dry goods like bread, garlic, onions, potatoes, things that don’t need refrigeration.
I have a yellow kitchen with red accents. The Red Componibili will be an elegant addition for storing pantry staples, like potatoes and onions.
Oh, I love this! It would go very well in the office at my new apartment, and would probably be used to store all my embroidery and papercraft supplies!
Children’s toys. Everything in my house contains children’s toys.
• top compartment: Lair of Deep Thoughts™
now on used envelopes, old receipts, paper
napkins, etc. now littering the desk;
• middle compartment: home office items
from desk like tape, scissors, pens, etc.;
• bottom compartment: cell phone charger,
cables, blood pressure monitor, other gadgets.
• Clutter Be Gone!
Fish supplies! It will sit perfectly next to my fish tank.

I’d use mine as a sort of modern toolbox and use it to store all of my DIY tools: hammer, nails, felt scraps, screws, etc. Gorgeous piece! Love the red!
I would use it for cat storage and paper goods in the kitchen.
I would put this right by my desk to keep all my office supplies in it. These are totally bitchin!
I would store my cats in there! Or bathroom accessories.
YARN! That would be so perfect for yarn. The cats wouldn’t be able to get it open (I hope) and I wouldn’t have to pull plastic containers out of closets and out from under beds every time I need to get at my stash.
I’m a product design student moving into my first apartment so I would fill this with school supplies (huge amounts of colored pencils, markers, pens, etc.)
I <3 Design Milk.
I would store my vices inside of it.
This would be great in my bathroom to store my husbands things that he leaves all over the counter.
my watercolours/watercolour pencils, most likely, and with that small brushes, scissors, cutouts and collages of the watercolours… all in progress!
I would keep books and my reading glasses in there, right next to my bed!
I’m pretty sure this would go great as a mini toy chest for our kids downstairs!
oh that white one would be perfect in my play room to store some of my craft supplies….or next to the bed as a new end table…oh the posibilites are endless!
I’ll be storing my crafty and necessary office supplies and getting creative with them now that they’re going to be so easily accessible!
I am desperately trying to get my crafting area under control, and this would be the perfect solution! Or, as a side table next to my sofa… you can always use more storage for remotes! What a great giveaway.
Paint brushes, printmaking supplies. Love the item!
I refuse to depart with objects I’ve accumulated throughout my life. I would move all of my random junk–toys, photos, notes, broken pieces from everything–out of their cardboard box homes under my bed and into this, much more comfortable and sturdy, three-story apartment.
My daughter’s room needs some storage in her study area. She would flip over this. Perfect for school supplies.
it would definitely go in the living room, probably to store art supplies as well as typical living room \stuff\ that clutters up the place. out constantly lost remotes, books, and papers would be in the top two compartments and the bottom one might be a good place to keep cat toys… they might even be able to get them out on their own!
I would use it in the bathroom for everything that won’t fit in my cabinet!
Some film and a couple of little cameras.
I have tons of books that have no place of their own! It’s started to look like a bookstore with all the books strewn!
It would be the first piece of furniture for the nursery we are setting up. I can’t wait to fill it with toys!
I’ve been looking for a place to store my stationary supplies and the books I’m currently reading.
This slick little Kartell number would find a happy home in my office, holding pencils and post-it notes!
All my art supplies… many of my art supplies.
It would store all my hopes and dreams. Hopes and dreams for a chic-ly modern room!
Oranization key word, and i need that
This would go straight to my son’s room, where it will hold video games, plastic figures, his Gameboy, and his Build A Bear clothes for his bear.
The possibilities for what could be stored in there seem endless! I think I would keep school supplies and the like organized, while still looking stylish.
really nice
Letter writing supplies and other odds and ends. If only I had a desk pretty enough to sit next to it…
