This cradle looks lovely. I don’t have any babies yet but I’m hoping to get started this year! The cradle and a baby to go in it are definitely on the wishlist!
We used the Amby Bed for my daughter’s first six months and recommed it to any one who will listen. They are wonderful. She slept through the night by the time she was 10 weeks old and I give her hammock the lion’s share of the credit. Her own movement soothed her and she learned to love sleeping as much as her father and I do (one of our biggest hopes for her future happiness).
If anyone is considering a baby hammock and the cost is prohibitive, take a look on ebay or craigslist. They are often there for half of what a new one would cost. Most of the bed is washable, and replacement matresses can be purchased for very little.
