Art History Poster

How awesome is this poster! It’s a pretty thorough art history cheat sheet. My favorite line is “Duchamp owns everything.”

  16. Victoria says:

This is the ultimate expression of retarded name dropping, half of the “owned” just describes one piece and nothing central to the artists’ body. You got a catalog of Mondernist/Post-Modern artists and put down what you saw. Good job, idiot.

  17. Sao says:

    the eames’ own chairs.
    wright owns architecture.

  18. jane says:

    Victoria,

don’t be so quick to judge. this piece is not about characterizing the artists’ bodie of work, or name dropping. its about making fun of name dropping, and calling attention to how idiotic it is to attribute an entire concept to a single individual. its making fun of consumerism in art, and artistic intellectual property monopolies. have fun taking this apart.
