Asterix: A Family of Geometric Brass Chandeliers

Melbourne-based lighting designer Christopher Boots recently launched a series of lights called ASTERIX. Boots decided to explore four geometric elements that join together to form a familiar geometric 3D symbol. The result is a collection of five brass fixtures: Unix, Triptyx, Quadrix, Parallelogram, and Asterix.

The fixtures range from a simple form and grow into more complex geometrical forms. The brass is inlaid with LED lighting so no bulbs are showing. This way the fixtures become more sculptural with a glowing element emanating from it.
