Dominique Mao is an extremely talented designer based in San Francisco. Shown here are some of her student work she created during her semesters at the Academy of Art University. Below are images from her final thesis project where she combines experimental typography and jewelery into beautiful art forms. Her project titled, typecandy is a quirky and upbeat collection of acrylic jewelry.

Serial Cut is a Madrid-based studio established in 1999 by Sergio del Puerto, that focuses mainly on Art Direction. They have such a strong ability to bring a photograph to life with a lot of whimsy and character.
I’ve been a huge fan of MacFadden & Thorpe. Don’t know why I haven’t shared them with you guys sooner. They’re a two person design firm based in SF that has a portfolio of great work. I especially enjoy their refreshing and playful typography design. They do such fun work! Makes me jealous.

This is a new project designed by Paula Scher over at the fabulous Pentagram. I’m jealous! I wish I went to a school that had such vibrant colors and textures. Why do most schools have beige and sterile walls anyways? Don’t you think a vibrant and lively environment makes learning more fun?
