
I got an email from Jane at Rockett St. George – a new online home and lifestyle boutique. While I was perusing their site, this light really got my attention. I was blown away by the fabric-look – it’s actually made out of porcelain [fabric is used as a mold and is burned away leaving the molded porcelain]. There are some other cool items on the site, including jewelry, furniture, and home decor. I also like these lace concrete tiles:


I found this really neat washstand from Herman Wittocx. I love the simplicity. He has some other very unique designs on his website.

Now, when I first saw Sara Eichner’s work, I thought she was a textile designer, but lo and behold, these are all oil paintings. Absolutely amazing.

I can’t not talk about this piece of art by Stuart Haygarth. It’s made from plastic materials that washed up on shore. I am in awe at the patience required for something like this.

These birds from CB2 are too cute!

Over at the 2Modern blog, I saw this sofa that I fell in love with by John Charles Designs. What a great design, plus the color of the cushions is to die for.
