I like the design of the chair as a piece of furniture, but not sure how I feel on it being designed as a bag as well. It must be quite dangerous to carry it with the legs poking out! As furniture they look simple, nicely designed with colours that will brighten up any room.

I’m not convinced that this “looks like a bag”. It looks like a chair to me. The only thing that makes it carry-able is the open back, which many other chairs have. And it encourages you to carry it in a more dangerous way, as Sally pointed out.
It would work more like a bag if the legs folded in and you could wear the seat against your back like a backpack. And if you could store something under the seat (notebook and pens/pencils?).

Folding up the legs and added storage is a great idea and would better blur the lines between chair and bag.
