Bay Area interior design firm Geremia Design turned the charming Benvenue Avenue Residence into a home suitable for a young family with dogs. Situated on a quiet street in Berkeley, the wood-shingled house got a modern update that would work for entertaining, as well as for their children.
The homeowners wanted to start collecting art, so Lauren Geremia, who’s also an art consultant, helped them curate pieces of contemporary photography.
Modern furniture and accessories were chosen with fun, unique details in mind, helping to modernize the house which has a number of traditional details.
Timeless classics are thoughtfully placed throughout blending with the newer pieces.
A custom media unit was designed especially for the living room.
