
I discovered this beautiful home by Cottam Hargrave over on BoConcept’s Facebook page. Located in Austin, Texas, this formative project was designed for the architect’s parents and has been recently updated. I like the way the ceiling is painted a robin’s egg blue in between the beams, and the same color has been accented on some exterior doors.

Located in Kingsburg, Canada, the 1,700-square-foot home is situated on top of a hill that undergoes heavy winds and harsh weather.

An interesting installation by Bureau Spectacular / Jimenez Lai, this rotating module was born from the idea that all surfaces — including ceilings and walls — could serve as functional space. The structure rotates once per hour, just like a clock in which every 15 minutes, one of the surfaces becomes parallel to the ground. Reminds me of a hamster wheel…
