Coffee + Tea with a Side of Art: Trama Line by Jacqueline Terpins for Riva
São Paulo-based artist and designer Jacqueline Terpins dabbles in a slew of mediums for various projects and her latest home accessories line, for design house Riva, employs stainless steel and dark glass. The Trama line consists of a teapot, a tea & coffee set, a square tray, and a rectangular tray, that feel a bit futuristic and art deco rolled into one.

OOS Collection by Studio248
OOS Collection is a minimalist design series by Bangkok-based firm Studio248. The collection consists of a coffee table, side table, and ceiling lamp. The most distinct characteristics of this collection is the simplicity of the joint between the metal plate and the wood. The metal plate is being held through a slit in the wood that allows the plate to be locked in place, perpendicular to the floor without any screws.
Grid Set by Valvanera Arrieta
Spanish designer Valvanera Arrieta of Valvanera Design participated in the European Design Labs Master 2012 with Jaime Hayon at the helm and the Grid Set was her thesis project. Not only is the design dynamic, it's functional because the set contains 11 pieces that any table could use including: salt shaker, pepper shaker, oil bottle, vinegar bottle, vase, napkin and cutlery containers, trays and pitchers.
Plastic Bird House by Colectivo da Rainha
Challenged by the local water company, Serra da Estrela, Portuguese design firm Colectivo da Rainha was to find a way to re-use the company's PET plastic bottles as the central material in a new product. Accepting the challenge, the duo created the Plastic Birdhouse as a way to give a home to birds from something you already have in your home.
Tresse Rug Collection by Samuel Accoceberry for Chevalier Edition
Paris-based designer Samuel Accoceberry created a collection of rugs for Chevalier Edition called Tresse, which is French for plait, i.e. braid. Meant to reflect "the spirit of plaiting and hand work," the series uses a traditional hand-knotting technique to achieve the contemporary braided look of the design.
