A Chair Designed to “Give” by Dae Kim

Dae Kim designed a chair after looking at what a chair does for the person who’s sitting there – it gives its all to them by allowing them to sit comfortably, much like a “giving tree”. Thus, The Giving Chair was born.

Designed for one, the chair disguises a table within it, while also having separate cushions for others to sit on on the floor making it practical for someone living alone that might need extra seating. Small spaces might not allow for a sofa, so the design allows for a chair with the option of having additional seats and a table.
