Christian Woo

While at ICFF, I walked by Christian Woo’s booth and then walked right back. What struck me first was the quality and craftsmanship of these pieces. I thought, “this guy must work with wood for a living.” And guess what? He does!

Christian, a Vancouver-based furniture designer and woodworker, put together a collection of five distinctive pieces ranges from sleek low profile end tables, to filing cabinets and sideboards. Called Covert, the pieces are made of sustainably harvested hardwoods and hand rubbed oil finishes. Thin bands of organic color offer understated impact and a fun modern accent.

I was immediately drawn to the quality of the pieces, which unfortunately, I can’t show you via the web. However, if you are in Vancouver be sure to look him up.
