The adage goes, \"Reduce, Reuse, Recycle,\" with an intentional order. Wouldn\’t making a waste basket out of,say, aluminum be much more eco? It has a much longer product life and aluminum is also 100% recyclable! Recycled plastics would last longer as well, though there is usually degradation in the recycling of plastics.
