Corredo is a project by Studio Ghigos that focuses on the theme of memory, remembrance, and legacy in objects with “an ancient taste but a contemporary look”.
Corredo is essentially Grandma’s tea set, the one that’s often stored in the attic collecting dust, but never thrown away. Instead, Ghigos finds an opportunity to create a new object, where memories become unexplored design possibilities.
From the designer:
Memory here turns into a ‘mistakes generator’, absence into a function, and thus a settled emptiness into a shaping matrix.
