I LOVE these and I love that you referenced a fishing pole; maybe that is how I’ll convince my husband we should get one!

Reminds me of the Bauhaus Arc Floor Lamp at cb2.com, which I have to say I prefer as I agree with “MySpace Codes” that they do look fragile. But I love the concept and that one may be a more sturdy option.
