Can you believe HGTV’s Design Star is in its fifth season? Me neither! I usually get bored of most shows after a few seasons, but not DS!

Season 5 premieres this Sunday, June 13, at 10 PM ET/PT. The 11-week series returns to New York City where judges Genevieve Gorder, Vern Yip, Candice Olson take on a cast of 12 new design competitors. The show is now under Mark Burnett Productions, who has produced such popular shows as Survivor and The Apprentice. I wonder if this season will be extra juicy? This season the cast members sure are easy on the eyes. Can’t wait. Will you be tuning in?

I watched the first episode of the first season, it was one of the worst shows I have ever seen. Same formula as every other reality competition show out there. I was really disappointed, I wanted for it to be good. Has anyone watched other seasons? Does it get better?

This could have been so much better I was going to audition had my paperwork ready. Im glade i didn’t send it now.
