I spent some time last night in Love Park checking out the scene of DesignPhiladelphia opening night. Check out some of the festivities.

Earlier in the day, Eugenie Perret of Minima spent time knitting herself into this crazy huge cocoon. Unfortunately by the time I got there it seems she had finished:

There were lots of great furniture strewn about the park to facilitate conversation and a DJ booth to set the mood. The Visitor’s Center was jumpin’ with beer and conversation.
