That’s the coolest pool I’ve seen too! Really like the contrast of the water with the nicely done wooden flooring. Plus the inside shots are pretty awesome too, really like the funky walls. Thanks for posting.

I’m always a little surprised to see postings like this on Design Milk. While I appreciate that designs for the super rich pave the way for things which proliferate down into the middle class, I still think its unfortunate that few, if any, of your readers could ever afford to purchase such a house.

Wealth has always enjoyed objects of great aesthetic value (and arguably, the class of people who can afford this house is bigger than its ever been, modulo the financial crisis), and so it seems to me that the very interesting and most important aspect of design is “How do I create goods with high aesthetic value within the confines of making them for the lower and middle classes?” This seems particularly keen since the vast majority of us are in one or the other of these groups.

Honestly, these posts just seem like pornography to me, is what I am saying.
