You guys sure have a lot of nerve pulling this idea and photo straight off of BHG.com! I used to work there – do you have any idea how many lawyers they have devoted to nailing copyright infringement?
I use to have aspen branch curtain rods when I lived in Boulder Co. I had a friend from the mountains cut some saplings for me. My windows were all very wide, kind of picture windows so they had to be LONG. They were heavy and it took some effort to find several really straight saplings and even so it was kind of hard to pull back and forth and the drapes looked uneven. But I was glad for the concept of it.
hey I really would like to do this for my little tree themed nursery I was wondering is there a place that sells these. I had a bundle of perfect branches that I had selected from a lake but I am not sure when I left them at my parents place if they threw them out.
This looks great, but I can’t help but think that it would be really annoying to try and negotiate the knobbly bits on the branch when trying to draw the curtains!

Wow, that looks cool but nearly impossible to use. Very hard to slide the curtain open and closed.

What an amazing curtain pole, they would suit a certain style of house, but unfortunately not mine!
