Frameworks: An LED Wooden Picture Frame

With smartphones in just about everyone’s hands, picture taking has become a given. The question though? What to do with all those photos sitting on your phone? Swedish company Frameworks designed Frameworks One, a backlit picture frame that lets any photo on your phone become framed artwork.

Each frame is made from sustainably harvested solid wood with a LED light system installed. The frame’s light is dimmable so you can set the perfect tone and look for each of the photos you choose to display.

To get prints to display in your Frameworks One, they’ve developed a free app that will soon be available via iTunes and Google Play. You simply upload your photos to the app and they’ll send you the custom prints to display. You’ll also be able to order prints from their gallery.

Frameworks One is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter if you’re interested in getting one of the first ones.
