France magazine, believe it or not, exists. Moreover, their most recent issue focuses on design. They were kind enough to send me over a copy, which is fantastic, except that my scanner stinks and is more trouble than it’s worth. Note to self: scanner purchase is imminent.

In the issue, there are a number of articles on designy hotels, restaurants, museums, and artists. There is an article on the Centre de Recherche sur les Arts du Feu et de la Terre, or CRAFT, which makes some interesting ceramics, including this lamp which caught my eye:
