Friday Five with Andrew Cogan of Knoll

Andrew Cogan is the CEO of Knoll, a position he has held since 1999. Knoll is this year’s receipt of the National Design Award for Corporate and Institutional Achievement from the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt. This achievement reflects Knoll’s legacy of using design to positively impact quality of life. Known for its iconic furniture and office planning, Knoll continues to look forward and Andrew credits his entire team with carrying the brand into the future, and pulling off major product programs designed to address the way we work now. “Everyone who has ever been involved in designing, manufacturing or selling our products deserves credit for, and should take pride in, this award,” said Cogan. “It encompasses the continuum of Knoll products, communications and environments that has evolved over time—and our investment in design that has created new solutions for the ever-changing workplace.”
