Friday Five with Sabrina Soto

Sabrina Soto is an LEED-accredited interior designer who began her career by working in her mother’s decorating business. That experience sparked a passion for design and honed a knack for creating beautiful spaces in any budget range. Along with her hosting and design duties on Get it Sold and Real Estate Intervention, Sabrina has been featured on HGTV shows and specials, including: White House Christmas, HGTV’s Green Home, Bang For Your Buck, House Hunters, Showdown, and Buying & Selling Secrets. Sabrina has been featured in Time Magazine, Family Circle, USA Today, People en Espanol, Esquire and Latina. She is also Target‘s Style Expert for Home.

Here are five things that Sabrina is been really into right now…

1. Trendland
Staying on top of trends is the heart beat of any design field. I love the Trendland website because it showcases the hit list of all forms of design in one place. This way I can easily stay in tune with the design world as a whole.

2. Scouting NY Blog
I love living in New York City but I don’t have a lot of free time to explore. Nick Carr spends his time scouting locations for film shoots in the city, and then shares some of New York’s hidden secrets. From beautiful architecture to forgotten designs… he leaves you wanting more.

3. ITSO
I recently downsized from a large house in the DC area to a small NY apartment. Extreme organization is key when you’re living in a small space! I’ve used ITSO in every single room of my house… even under my bed!

4. Urbio Magnetic Vertical Plant Holders
I was recently hunting for some great, natural wall art for my NYC apartment and fell in love with these amazing magnetic plant holders! These modular pieces are the perfect city garden.

5. Etsy.com
Etsy is my guilty pleasure. I love finding hidden treasures and creative, unique pieces that people all over the world create… often at unbelievable prices! You can find anything from beautiful vintage pieces to amazingly handcrafted wood furniture. My absolute favorite thing about Etsy, however, is you get to support up and coming artisans!
