  1. my favorite product happens to be one of the giveaways… the Floral Pattern Reversible All-Weather Floor Mat. It would be great in my bathroom or deck.

  2. While I love these giveaway items, what makes me happiest after (re)visiting the Gaiam website is seeing the return of the rattan meditation chair. A friend of mine has a pair of them from years ago and they are the most comfortable low chairs I have ever experienced! My husband and I are aging floor-sitters, and someday we will be investing in a set of these for our home.

The rugs are much more beautiful than your standard mud room mat and I love that they are made from recycled goods!

  4. The all-weather mat is beautiful. I’ve traveled a lot in Thailand and one of the best souvenirs I found was a mat similar to this (although far less pretty!) and it’s so fun to have out in my brownstone garden in Brooklyn. It can truly handle all weather! I’m so excited to find a place to buy these state-side.

  5. Marilyn Wons on 03.09.09 at 2:48 PM

I learned that all of the products are conditionally guaranteed!

  6. Marilyn Wons on 03.09.09 at 2:49 PM

I meant to say “unconditionally guaranteed”!

  7. I love the Zen Fountains. I always wanted one of those!

  8. caroline on 03.09.09 at 3:22 PM

they have a nice cork bathmat. i didn’t know that cork is naturally antifungal. very cool.

  9. I really need their bath caddy to organize all the stuff that i have cluttering my tub!

  10. sustainability’s the name of the game….keep up the good work Gaiam! I’d love to have one of those rugs underneath my desk chair while I’m writing about cleantech/renewable energy related topics on my tech blog, tinycomb.com. Thanks a lot :)

  11. Linda D. on 03.09.09 at 3:33 PM

I love the Oriental pattern floor mat above. As someone who goes to 3 yoga classes a week, I really like the Everything Fits gym bag on the Gaiam website. Thanks for the chance!

  12. Margaret Smith on 03.09.09 at 3:52 PM

I love the Oriental Pattern Reversible All Weather Floor Mat. I learned that they are recycled plastic rugs, made from spent soda bottles and are handcrafted by Thai artisans who receive a fair wage for their craft. Thanks for offering this wonderful contest.

  13. Kathy Scott on 03.09.09 at 3:55 PM

I am a CPA and the Balance Ball Chair might help my back.

  14. Amber Ellis on 03.09.09 at 4:22 PM

Yes! I just love those floor mats! I have been eyeing them on their website and catalog for over a year. Those pop colors are fabulous and are a great way to completely transform an outdoor patio area. Not only are these suckers recycled from soda bottles, they are also fair trade. That’s a big deal to me. Thanks for the opportunity to win one!

  15. Tamara Jones on 03.09.09 at 4:34 PM

Cool website! I loved the balance ball/chair combination!

  16. I’ve been looking at floor mats lately and these are perfect! The floor tiles in my kitchen get really cold and are so unpleasant under my feet when I’m trying to make my morning cup of coffee! This would be perfect, especially in the aqua/yellow combination!

  17. Virginia on 03.09.09 at 5:15 PM

I love the brown and blue floor matt, it is so beautiful and the website is awesome!

  18. I really like the Double Tree of Life Wall Sculpture
my husband and I just bought our first house and we are trying to decorate it and this would be prefect.

  19. The outdoor rug! Its fair trade! I have one in my ‘entryway’. I would love to have another to complete my outdoor space that has recently been spruced up. It really weathers the traffic in my house. (I could also really use the mosquito control liquid.)

  20. patricia skinner on 03.09.09 at 5:59 PM

The Reversible All-Weather Rugs stand up to foot traffic in mudrooms, kitches, or anywhere else there is plenty of comings and goings. They are made from spent soda bottles!

    I like the Oriental Pattern.

the Bamboo Bath Tub Caddy would come in handy when i’m taking my day ending bubblebath with my bottle of wine

  23. The Sunflower Showerhead looks wonderful; like bathing under a waterfall. lol! It’s also great that it’s good for you by reducing the toxins in the water. Thank you for offering this giveaway! eyeslikesugar [at] gmail [dot] com.

  24. I love the rattan meditation chair. it looks like it would allow for wonderful meditation time

  25. Brian N. on 03.09.09 at 6:59 PM

  26. surprised to see creative camping gear. i really dig seeing the Orikaso Campware. i have a set of those dishes i rec’d as a gift this christmas, waiting to bring on my first spring paddle.
the hand powered mixer is too funny- i like the idea of daquiris by the fire.

  27. Wow, what an awesome collection of homewares. I just love that composter for the kitchen. Brilliance!

  28. that bath caddy is double plus good.

  29. I love the recycled iron and steel racks for hanging towels or coats!

  30. ky2here on 03.09.09 at 7:52 PM

I’ve never seen anything as brilliant as the Oriental Pattern Reversible All Weather Floor Mat.

  31. Brian N. on 03.09.09 at 7:59 PM

I love the back Wave II as I think it could really help my wife with her lower back soreness!

  32. I love the bath caddy! When I first saw it, I imagined sitting in a bubble bath with some tea and cookies on the tray. What a fabulous idea.

Another fabulous idea I saw on their website was the Countertop Bag Dryer. I’ve never really gotten into reusing plastic bags because it was such a hassle to wash and dry them. But I can see how this would make it so much easier. And people seem to love how convenient it is. It shows no signs of wear even after ten years. Amazing.

  33. Brooke Raymond on 03.09.09 at 8:09 PM

Those floor mats have ben on my radar for a long time. I love that they are fair trade and made of recycled material!

  34. christina singer on 03.09.09 at 8:10 PM

I love the bamboo shower caddy. I was thinking it might bleed and stain my tile, but the website says it wont. sign me up!

  35. wow… such a great site. while the whole “green lifestyle” concept is getting a bit overdone (by certain companies and people), it is such a needed change. we must live sustainably and this company has some great ideas to help us do so.

i really liked the dryer balls and the doggie dooley. i love these logical and simple ways to reduce the amount of non-biodegradable waste we put into our landfills.

thanks for introducing me to this site!

  36. I love the simple, usable product design.

  37. That shower caddy is so much nicer than the ones you usually see in home stores. It would look great in my new bathroom!

  38. I am really liking the folding bamboo bath stool. I doesn’t just look good, the interesting design is very modern and very chic. Not only that but it folds, and is environmentally sustainable. I want one.

  39. The balance ball chair is a pretty smart idea!

  40. i had no idea Gaiam had so many products. I am intrigued by the dryer balls.

  41. Cindy Merrill on 03.09.09 at 9:10 PM

The Holy Smokes Firestarters would be ideal- we love cookouts!

  42. my clawfoot tub is welll deserving of theseproducts, i like the delicate shape.

  46. Pamela Ray on 03.09.09 at 10:13 PM

    I Love the rugs.

  47. Gaiam is one of my favorite stores. I love their huge selection of healthy, eco-friendly products. So many great ideas and products all gathered into one place.

  48. This is the first I have heard of Gaiam. I loved these featured products as well as others on the website. I fell in love with the rugs at first glance, but I am even more impressed that the rug is made from spent soda bottles! I think this is a wonderful and ingenious idea.

  49. love the site! what a cool smattering of products. i like the rush ottomans a lot. rock on.
