Creative Coolers

Planters doubling up as ice buckets, low tables with integrated coolers, benches converting into coolers… The amount of designs promising to help us “drink ourselves cool” is now amazing. Here are three examples of what is out there beyond the traditional outdoor fridges.

Lluna by Joan Gaspar for Serralunga, which I saw at the Milan fair, offers a triple function: it works as a planter, a divider and a drinks cooler and can even have light as a bonus.

Also seen at the Milan fair, the Sahara pots by Gandia Blasco. They are designed to be doubly used as an ice bucket to keep drinks fresh. The Sahara outdoor planters are made from durable rotationally molded polyethylene in translucent white color, which can withstand the test of time and the outdoor elements.

Faz by Vondom was a hot star at the fair. All the designs, chairs, loungers, pots and planters were so spectacular that the little low coffee table with a slot for ice and drinks almost went unnoticed.

Happy cool summer to all!
