Gypsy Modular: If LEGOs and IKEA Got Married

Clark Davis moved a lot in his lifetime and each time he was frustrated trying to pack furniture into a tiny car. He decided it was time for someone to create furniture that came flatpacked, was easy to assemble, but — unlike big box flatpacked furniture — was also easy to disassemble and repack flat for moving to its next home.
The result is Gypsy Modular, a company that he is still trying to get off the ground on Kickstarter. He says Gypsy is like “if LEGOs and IKEA got married.” Go check it out for yourself and if you like it, make a small donation.

Update: Gypsy Modular is now Sprout Kids. You can purchase pieces at sprout-kids.com.

These rocking chairs for kids are great and they’re modern at the same time (not to mention comfortable!) I think that Ikea and Lego’s should collaborate and make furniture, it’s a GREAT idea!
Is any company actually producing this???
You can now purchase this product at GypsyModular.com. Check out our new video while you are there.
