Hand-Painted Solar System Push Pins by Duncan Shotton Design Studio

Tokyo-based Duncan Shotton Design Studio plans to bring the whole world and then some right to your cork board with these really cool Planet Pins. Each of the eight pins have been painstakingly hand-painted to look like one of the planets to form a teeny tiny version of the solar system. DYING!

For each pin, they mold the shape of the planet over German-made black steel pins before heading to Tokyo to be painted. Once painted, the pins are assembled in their display cases, which happen to be serial numbered.

They’re funding the first round of pins via Kickstarter if you’d like a set of your own.

Besides the eight planets, they’re making Moon pins from “cratered” hand-cast concrete.
