Hand-Pleated Clothing Inspired by Architecture

A 2013 graduate of Central Saint Martins, Vivien Chong presented a graduate collection full of hand-pleated pieces that were inspired by the architecture of Steven Holl, whose work always seems to masterfully play with light and shadow. Entitled Pleating Architecture, the collection also pays homage to other contemporary architecture, as well as modern art, like sculptures from Alyson Shotz.
