I really do. There’s something about those little buttons that makes me swoon. Finding a great tufted sofa isn’t all that hard, and there are many vintage sofas with tufting. If you’re not a scavenger or prefer something new, here are my favorite tufted sofas:

The Andre sofa from Room and Board. Not bad at $1599. The Bantam sofa from DWR for $1598. The Gus Design sofa from Design Public is a real nice specimen. This one will set you back about $1825. However, if you like modern classics, and have the cash, you can always spring for a Florence Knoll. A Florence Knoll sofa will cost you a pretty $6500 at Hive Modern. However, it is larger than the above and is offered in more fabrics and leather. One of the above may end up in my living room next year…I’ll keep you posted.

Bassett’s Simply Yours Loft has a tufted sofa available with two or three cushions, fabulous price around $900.00 and great quality. They have some killer fabric to choose from as well, even one in that grey blue you like so much.

A sofa is a word adapted into English from Arabic, by way of Aramaic. These days it refers to any couch, though originally it referred only to the luxuriously cushioned seats of esteemed guests in the royal palaces of Arabia. Sofas are always upholstered and designed for reclining and relaxation.
