ICFF 2011: Part 3

This is Part 3 of my coverage of the 2011 International Contemporary Furniture Fair held in NYC last week. Make sure to check out all our ICFF coverage here.

Cute stools from Markamoderna remind me a bit of Patricia Urquiola’s Tropicalia collection for Moroso.

Hariri & Hariri‘s Crystalline collection for AF Design Lab. Not really new this year, but love it anyway.

Kenneth Cobonpue had a few new lamp additions as well as some really great club chairs woven with fabric (seen in the bottom right of the photo).

Iannone Design‘s latest pieces incorporated wool felt. The walnut dining table and chairs were beautiful in person — the chair pads are actually made of felt. Also, the two-tone green storage credenza is actually wood covered in colored felt. You really can’t get a good feel for these pieces through photographs.

The D-Torso booth had a giant 3D cardboard giraffe and a lady that was robotic (and creepy!).

There were a few cute, nifty items in the Designboom mart this year:

Casey Chen‘s Eraser with a Punch

Studiooofactory‘s Mobile Tail

Nosejob Eraser by Jackson Tan and Tanny Wong — simply use the eraser to form the perfect nose!

Various piggy bank designs — from left to right: Pigxel by Randy Chan, Hungry <Pig> Happy by Bassam Jabry, and A Bag of Gold by Yong Jieyu.

Salt and Pepper Hammers by Natalia Criado.

Tweet memo pad — I can’t remember who this is from (help!), but it was in the Designboom mart.
