Ikebana-Inspired Cups & Bowls by Hanna Kruse

Inspired by Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging, German designer Hanna Kruse, designed the Soe Cup series and the Toko & Noma Ikebana bowls. The ceramic cups and bowls are outfitted with grate-like metal tops with geometric patterns that are made of steel and copper wire. The tops enable you to either arrange flowers or just as a decorative lid for the cup.

The Soe Cup series is perfect for storing your jewelry or displaying small blooms. The wire frames are attached at one point and pivot around to open the cups.

The Toko (above) & Noma Ikebana bowls offer a new interpretation on the traditional Ikebana flower arrangements. The flat vessels allow you to display single blooms or multiple flowers through the geometric frame.
