I love little gadgets like this, but it looks like it might be very bulky worn around a finger. There's also always an issue with these universal apple remotes if you have more than one apple device... it's really annoying when you're trying to play music and end up turning your computer on from across the room.

The concept is thoughtful and cool. Unless it can be created using a silicone (or the likes of) form for expansion it would be to limited in size. Then on that front you'd need to protect the internals so a top and bottom clam shell would need to be created that would house and protect the internals.
Now for the internals... I am not a IC (Integrated circuit)expert by any means, but I feel that the size of this would currently have to be larger than what people would want to wear (just a bit) for it to catch on. I see it being done with a few more years of IC/battery development.
great idea.

I love the concept and would certainly buy one, although I can't see Apple allowing their logo to be used on something not made by them. Trying to envision how I would wear this, I think it would be pretty easy to pinch against the lock mechanism unintentionally, such as when making a fist, so I'd probably put that on the other side, above and below where the logo currently is. I also wonder how the designer imagines catering for different finger sizes as well as managing multiple devices.
