Lamp for Luceplan
You knew it was coming. iPad-inspired lighting is upon us, and although this type of thing could get pretty old, pretty fast, as of now Luceplan’s lamp, designed by Habits, looks like it’ll seamlessly integrate into just about any modern decor.

actually the “pad” style of lighting is going to blow up in the next year or so. many people who are working on LED lighting are moving toward the pad style because it provides more even lighting, looks cleaner than a bunch of tiny diodes (what LEDs are). i think this particular lamp from luceplan just coincidentally looks like the ipad. don’t let it turn you off from one of the future directions of lighting technology.
